Wood Working Projects

I only took one class of wood shop in middle school, and my projects weren't very good, but I've always enjoyed watching The New Yankee Workshop. So I've slowly acquired a few power tools and have created a few projects. Someday, I'll have a real workshop, but for now, I do my dust-creating outside and the final assembly inside.

Headboard - Coming Soon
This was my first wood working project. It was fairly simple, and turned out quite well. It has that rustic look that some people pay a lot of money for.

Workbench
My work bench had to serve as both a bike repair station and as a wood working bench. This was a large project that took quite a while to complete, but turned out well.

CD Shelf Unit
My next project is to build a CD storage unit. My collection has outgrown its current storage area. My design should let me store plenty of CDs and take up less room than the current unit. I plan to make it out of oak and will either hang it on the wall using a French Cleat or make feet so it can be freestanding. Check back for updates someday.
